The buzz only intensified today at the Echo Park Rising music, arts and food party in LA's most hipster locale, when High There star Wayne Darwen was spotted backstage during the surprise free show by comedy star Hannibal Buress.
Buress, star of Comedy Central's Broad City and his own series, Why? with Hannibal Buress (and the man whose stand-up accusations led to Bill Cosby's downfall), stepped over to greet Darwen moments after he left the stage, happy to share a picture with the summer's indie comedy sensation.
So maybe it was for luck that hot band Mr. Elevator and The Brain Hotel also posed with "Dave High" before their gig on that Liberty Main Stage.
Darwen also met with Cindy Pao and Anne Chen of Bling Bling Dumpling, after chowing down on their offerings, the food hit of the festival.
